Andrew Chilcott founded stpsolutions in 1998 after having worked in the City of London for many years. Firstly as a Chartered Accountant and then moving across to IT as Systems Director of a member firm of the London Stock Exchange. In both roles, and those in between, he has experienced a full range of organizations and systems. In particular, the early and mid 1990's were a time of great technological change for business with networked PC's taking over from large mainframe systems. Much of his work both whilst in practice as an accountant and more recently has been involved in business processes and how they are joined together by workflow.

Having come from the business side, his emphasis is on delivering business benefit. Technology is used where appropriate as a tool to accomplish the process in a more efficient and consistent manner. It does not replace the need for designing and planning the processes necessary to deliver services or goods to customers.
