Client:

Web Financial Group - Spanish Market Data solutions company

Problem:

WFG, having established a sales office in London, were pitching to supply market data, research and news to one of the four largest stockbrokers in the UK. They won the work and needed local market expertise and project management capabilities. In addition, during this period, WFG acquired Digital Look, the incumbant supplier to the stockbroker. This made WFG the dominant UK supplier of these services but brought with it the added complication of server migrations and data integration.

Solution:

stpsolutions has been engaged to provide the interface and manage all issues arising between the client and the product development team in Madrid. The project has used a SCRUM methodology with ten iterations each adding additional functionality within a very aggressive timescale. The final iteration completed within four days of the original timetable and is currently in the testing phase.
